Snagfu

I attached his legs to the body the other night, but was too sleepy to do the arms and stuffing. I also realized that I forgot to give him a neck. This will have to be rectified somehow. I'd like him to look as little like FrankenMorpheus as possible, so I'd rather not have rows of stitches around the base and top of his neck. However, if I cut out the neck and head as one piece, he'll wind up looking like a thick-necked chinless frat boy (equally unacceptable). FrankenMorpheus is clearly the lesser of two evils. I can always cover up the stitches with the ruby necklace I plan to dig up for him.

In other news, I think I may be mildly allergic to peaches, as my lips have developed some rather attractive bumps and peaches are the only thing I've changed about my diet recently. Either that or I've developed an allergy to Häagen-Dazs English toffee ice cream. Say it isn't so!!

I WILL NOT comment on the allergic reaction to fuzzy peaches (although it pains me beyond all reason not to) but I say the neck thing will work itself out, ruby necklace or no. Nice work on the torso and legs!

Hm. I'm no craft genius, but it seems to me that you could make the head and neck one piece, and then put a little dart under the chin to define the jawline. But I once accidentally sewed my hair into a cross-stitch, so you may not want to listen to me.

Sassy Molassy: Hey, don't hold back on my account. And thanks for the praise.

Liusia: Darts? The suggestion is definitely appreciated, but dude, I have trouble sewing a straight seam. I don't think you understand what kind of crafting Luddite you're dealing with. Also, sewing your own hair into a cross-stitch? Is awesome. It sounds like something a stalker would send to her victim.

Ha! Yeah, and I probably inadvertantly put some kind of magical hex on myself. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown that cross stitch away...
